H.E.A.R.T (Health, Emotional, and Academic Resource Team)

Students with special needs are supported through the Health, Emotional, and Academic Resource Team (H.E.A.R.T.). Services range from Response to Intervention for academics and behavior to 504 Plans and IEPs. Additionally, we offer English Language Learner services.

The team consists of a Special Education Director, special education teachers, intervention specialists (academics and behavior), adapted physical education, ELL specialist, speech and language pathologist, school psychologist, and a social worker. Specialized supports such as occupational therapy and audiology are based on specific student needs

Students who receive services through H.E.A.R.T. receive interventions based on their individual needs. Parents and guardians are involved in every step from planning to implementation and evaluation of the student’s plan.

For more information on how to refer a current student for H.E.A.R.T. services or if your student receives intervention (academic, behavior, or ELL), has a 504 Plan, or IEP and you want to enroll please contact us for additional information.
