On Tuesday May 7th, students from the Ivy League Mentorship Program and the Lego Team visited Senator Lena Taylor at the Capitol building in Madison. The Lego Team made a presentation to Senator Taylor of their robots and afterward she gave gifts students and teachers in her office. Also a professional photographer took pictures of the students with Senator Taylor in the rotunda so they would be able to have something to remember their trip by. Students took a tour in the building and they learned everything about Capitol. Students were treated to a special lunch at a Madison restaurant. Overall, the trip was educational, impressive and fun for students and staff members in attendance.
