Kindergarten graduation was a huge success. Thank you to all the parents, family members, and friends that came out to celebrate our scholars and their hard work. It was a great way to end the year.
Ms. Yang’s class performed a poem titled “Kindergarten”. Since Ms. Finner’s class has been raising caterpillars into butterflies, it was only fitting for them to perform the poem “Butterfly”. The butterflies that Ms. Finner’s class raised symbolize the growth and transformation that our scholars have undergone themselves. To wrap up the class performances, Ms. B’s class recited the poem “Graduation”. Finally, all three classes sang the song “First Grade, First Grade” to the tune of “New York, New York”. They were amazing!
This group of kindergartners have matured, developed, and grown so much this year. It has been a joy to work with every scholar and to watch them all bloom in kindergarten. We have covered a lot of ground this year, both in terms of academics and character development. It is really a special thing to witness children becoming young scholars.
Have a fun and safe summer! See you in first grade, scholars!
